Our Story

Our Journey from South Carolina to San Francisco

One fateful evening in December of 2017, a group of friends gathered in their Bates West freshman dorm room at the University of South Carolina for a friendly card game. In true meet-cute fashion, Annika and Ben's randomly assigned roommates happened to be longtime friends, and introduced the two that evening. From that moment on, they were rarely seen apart. Four years later, Annika and Ben graduated from USC and moved to Charlotte with their beloved cats Rocket and Loki. Soon after, they both landed their dream jobs, sending Annika across the country to Santa Cruz, California.

In 2022, Ben and the boys packed their bags and joined her on the West Coast, a place that quickly became home for them all. A few years and promotions later, the four of them moved to San Francisco. Their time in the city was marked by frequent trips to Alamo Square, and on May 25th, 2024, the iconic Full House title screen backdrop in the park would become the place they said yes to forever together.

In July, 2025 their story will add a new chapter as they elope in a private ceremony in San Francisco and return to the East Coast where it all started seven years ago to celebrate with you all.

Will there be food and drinks?

There will be a catered buffeted style dinner and an open bar.
Will there be parking?

Free on-site parking is available at the venue.

We kindly ask that you dress in smart casual attire. For Men: • Tops: Button-down shirts, polos, or sweaters. Avoid t-shirts or overly casual options. • Bottoms: Chinos, dress pants, or dark, well-fitted jeans. Avoid distressed or ripped denim. • Shoes: Loafers, brogues, leather sneakers, or boots. Avoid flip-flops or athletic sneakers. • Extras: Optional blazers or sports jackets for a more polished look. For Women: • Tops: Blouses, tailored tops, or sweaters. Avoid overly revealing or casual tops like crop tops. • Bottoms: Tailored pants, skirts, or dark, well-fitted jeans. Avoid overly casual options like shorts or ripped jeans. • Dresses: Simple, knee-length or midi dresses that are neither too formal nor too casual. • Shoes: Flats, loafers, ankle boots, or low-heeled pumps.
